One of my first priorities will be to work for the repeal of the Republican bankruptcy bill, which was supported by my opponent. This unfair bill places severe burdens on those in debt and is heavily weighted in favor of the credit card companies.

I will work to make sure that people who face extraordinary financial burdens through medical catastrophe or misfortune are able to repair their lives without losing their homes.
